Justin Dobner

I'm a self-taught IT professional with nearly a decade of hands-on experience building, breaking, and fixing everything from enterprise infrastructure to home lab servers. My career didn't start with a degree — it started with curiosity and a refusal to stop until something worked.

Outside of work, I'm someone who's always building something. 3D printing, woodworking, raised garden beds, working on cars — if it involves making something with my hands or my head, I'm in. Golf and skiing keep me sane. The UFC gets me fired up. But lately, most of my energy has gone into AI and automation. Since the start of 2025 it's become a genuine obsession — building local AI systems, designing automation pipelines, and exploring what's possible when you stop waiting for someone else to build the tools you need.

I'm someone who values the people around me. I have a great group of friends, and I make it a point to show up for my dad, my mom, and my grandmother whenever they need me. My girlfriend Kelsey has pushed me to grow in ways I didn't expect — she gets a lot of credit for who I'm becoming.

In 2011, after losing my brother Max, I helped my mom build a foundation to fight against synthetic drugs. It was one of the hardest and most meaningful things I've ever been part of. It shaped the way I think about showing up when it matters.
